adoption story: Abby belonged to the mother of one of our co-workers. We used to joke that she was Tucker's girlfriend, and that he saw her picture and was in love with her. Unfortunately, our co-worker's mother passed away, and our co-workers had to move and couldn't bring Abby with her. It seemed as though another family member might be taking her, but wasn't ready yet. I said we could take her until this other family member was ready, but that never came to pass. I knew our co-worker's mother would have been devastated if Abby ended up in a shelter, so we thought it would be best for us to keep her.
name story: Abby came with her name. I believe her former owner named her Abby, but her daughter added the "Lee," due to her spunky attitude, like Abby Lee from "Dance Moms."
fun facts: When we got Abby, she wasn't fixed. While we shouldn't have let it happen, her and Tucker produced two litters - the first was just Ben, who of course we kept, and the second was a shocking FIVE puppies. We kept Bader and Patrick, and the other three went to AMAZING homes with friends of ours (one went alone, and the two girls went together). Abby got fixed as soon as the second group was weaned, so no more puppies!
favorite things: Daddy. Cuddling with Tucker. Small stuffed animals that she can carry around in her mouth (one that are about the size that her puppies were at birth). Getting haircuts.
dislikes: When the puppies are acting too crazy. When someone leaves the room and closes the door leaving her in there.
