adoption story: One of my friends had posted Tucker's picture on Facebook looking for a home for him. He belonged to a friend of hers who, due to some personal life things, could no longer keep him. I wasn't interested at first, but when no one else showed interest either, I figured I should reach out. When I brought him home, I told my husband (then boyfriend) that I had gotten him a dog. He wasn't amused at first, but they quickly became best buddies.
name story: Tucker was already named by his previous owner. We added Dean as a middle name as a tribute to one of my favorite actors - Dean Cain.
fun facts: Tucker is the father to Ben, Bader and Patrick! Tucker knows how to open the car windows, so I have to remember to lock them when he's in the car with us - and when they're locked, he constantly pounds on the window control, and you can hear the frustration. He also was in the car one day while we ran back into the house to grab everything else we needed for a hike, and Tucker hopped up to the front seat and started honking the horn - we're fairly certain that he was a human in a previous life.
